「Today, we went on an excursion to the city.
First, we visited the National Gallery of Victoria (NGV). I saw many interesting artworks, including modern and traditional pieces. Some were hard to understand, but I enjoyed looking at the colorful paintings and big sculptures.
After that, we went to a shopping mall called Melbourne Central. I bought tea from T2 and a product from Lush, which is a popular brand in Australia. There were many other cool shops, but I didn’t have enough time to look around. I want to go there again.
Lastly, we visited the State Library of Victoria. It was very big and quiet inside. I was impressed by how large and beautiful the building was.

「今日は学校からバディとシティに行ってきました。バディも楽しみにしていました。シティにはたくさんの綺麗な高いビルがあって、日本とは全く違うところだなと思いました。美術館に行ってアボリジニの伝統的な絵や道具などを見ました。スナックタイムのあとシティを歩いて、ショッピングモールにいってお弁当を食べて、自由散策をしました。お昼ご飯を食べたあと20分ぐらいしか自由時間がなくていろんなお店に行けなかったけど楽しかったです！
大きな図書館にも行きました。大きすぎてバディとはぐれました。帰りの電車の中で他の人のバディと一緒に単語を当てるゲームをしました。一緒にゲームができて楽しかったです！
帰って宿題をしたあとホストファミリーとカフェごっこをしました。コーンスープを作ってくれました！
オーストラリアの伝統文化などいろいろなことを知ることのできるとてもいい機会でした！あと少ししか無いオーストラリアでの生活を目一杯楽しみたいです！」
