「Today, we went to Carranballac College. From period 2 to 6, we introduced Japanese culture to primary school students.
We taught them calligraphy, origami, kendama, and “Darumasan ga koronda“. I was in the kendama group, and all the groups enjoyed a lot.
Before lunch, I explained how to play kendama to primary school students. I also encouraged them to play with air balloons. It was fun, but I felt very tired in the afternoon.
After period 2 and after lunch, we went outside to play with kids. Everyone had a lot of energy, so I got very tired but it was fun.
Dinner with my host family is always very tasty. I enjoy it every night..
Coming to Australia helped me meet people from many different countries. I can’t do that in Japan, so it helped me see the world in a new way.」
